We Still Stand Alive has started to arise in the
end of summer 2008 in Moscow and passed through a
period of disagreements and changes in the
structure. Founders of W.S.S.A. were vocalist
Kirill and guitarist Evgeny. Initially the band
positioned itself as a post-hardcore project.
However, after some changes in the members list
and musical tastes the band has decided to make
their sound heavier. In the autumn of 2008
guitarist Sergey and bass guitarist Dima joined
the group. In such a structure the group existed
half a year rehearsing material then the project
has been frozen. After a while the decision on
renewal of activity was accepted. Dmitry has left
the band to join another project and two new
participants come: drummer Evgeny and bass player
Nikolay. In such a structure the group played
their first concert in the autumn of 2009. The
spring of 2010 is marked by recording bands debut
full length album Gulf Of Sharks. After the
recording the group has been compelled to leave
bass player Nikolay. In the shortest time the new
bass guitarist - the old friend of the group Artem
has been found.
